School History

De Paul School Vindhya Nagar, one of the best and reputed schools, is situated in the power generating belt in the beautiful township of VSTPS (Vindhyachal Super Thermal Power Station) Vindhyanagar, Singrauli, Madhya Pardesh. The school came into existence in the year 1984 at the special request of the VSTPS management.

De Paul Senior Secondary School is a private unaided co-educational institution, under the Santhome Vincential Society, Rewa, M.P. It is run by the Catholic Fathers (Vincentian Congregation, Kerala) and Sisters (The Handmaids of Mary, Orissa).

The school was inaugurated on 27-06-1984 by the GM (VSPTPS) Shri.J.P.Jaiswal. Rev.Fr.Paul Kottaram became the pioneering principal along with four teachers and fifty students on roll.

The school bears the name De Paul which stands for Saint Vincent De Paul,the universal patron of all social and charitable works. He always stood for noble cause of the poor, down trodden and ostracized of the socirty durning the French Revolution. Though he is no more with us,his vision,mission and charisma continues to lead us from ingnorance of drakness to the knowledge of light. De Paul is affiliated to CBSE Delhi under Ajmer Region in the year 1992 and in the year 1993 the first batch appeared for Secondary exams.The school was upgraded to Senior Secondary in the year 2001 with Commerce Stream with well experienced staff. It always comes out with hundred percentage result.Thus,De Paul-a school with spiritual, cerebral and sporty ambience-lifts students' spirits to no bound.
